Why I Love This Recipe
This Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry is the ultimate weeknight dinner—quick, healthy, and packed with flavor! The Kinders seasoning blend gives the beef a bold taste, while the simple coconut aminos sauce keeps it light and candida-friendly. The best part? It’s customizable! Swap the protein, mix up the veggies, or adjust the toppings to suit your family’s preferences. Plus, it’s toddler-approved with a small adjustment to separate the ingredients before mixing.
Ingredients
Protein:
1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), seasoned with Kinders seasoning blend
Veggies:
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup sliced bell peppers
1 cup snap peas
Sauce:
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp sesame oil
Base:
Cauliflower rice (or brown rice for a heartier option)
Toppings:
Red chili flakes (optional, for heat)
Cashews or pistachios (optional, for crunch)
Instructions
Prep the Beef: Season the beef with Kinders seasoning. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp oil. Cook the beef in a single layer until seared, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and let rest for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
Cook the Veggies: Add another 1 tbsp oil to the skillet. Toss in the broccoli, bell peppers, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the veggies, stirring to coat.
Combine and Serve: Add the sliced beef back to the skillet and stir everything together until warmed through. Serve over cauliflower rice or brown rice.
Top It Off: Sprinkle with red chili flakes for heat and cashews or pistachios for crunch.
Notes
Toddler Tip: Before mixing everything together, set aside portions of steak, veggies, and rice for little ones who prefer their foods separated.
Customizable Add-Ins: Feel free to swap the beef for chicken, shrimp, or tofu and experiment with other veggies like zucchini or mushrooms.
