Why I Love This Recipe

This is my go-to holiday appetizer when I want something festive without a lot of effort. Creamy whipped feta topped with sweet cranberry (or pomegranate) jelly, crunchy sliced almonds, and fresh rosemary feels elegant but is incredibly easy. Perfect for grazing and easy to make ahead.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz feta cheese

  • 4 oz cream cheese or Greek yogurt

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ cup cranberry jelly or pomegranate jelly

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds, chopped pistachios or pecans

  • 1–2 tsp fresh rosemary, very finely chopped

  • Crostini or crackers, for serving

Optional: cracked black pepper or a light honey drizzle

Instructions

  1. Add feta, cream cheese (or Greek yogurt), and olive oil to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Spread the whipped feta into a shallow serving bowl.

  3. Spoon the cranberry or pomegranate jelly evenly over the top.

  4. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and fresh rosemary.

  5. Finish with cracked black pepper or a light honey drizzle, if desired. Serve with crostini or crackers.

Notes

  • The whipped feta can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge.

  • Add jelly, almonds, and rosemary just before serving for best texture.

  • Sliced almonds keep this light, but pistachios or pecans work well too.

  • Easily gluten-free with GF crackers.
