Why I Love This Recipe
This crockpot shredded chicken is tender, flavorful, and perfect for busy nights. It’s seasoned with simple spices, slow-cooked until juicy, then finished with a spoonful of Kinder’s Chicken Sauce for a sweet, creamy kick. Ideal for tacos, bowls, or salads—and a total mom win.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth or water
1/4 cup Kinder’s “The Chicken Sauce” (plus more for drizzling)
Optional: squeeze of lime for brightness
Instructions
Season Chicken: Lightly season chicken breasts with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Slow Cook: Place chicken in the crockpot with the broth. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until very tender.
Shred and Sauce: Remove chicken, shred with two forks, then return to the crockpot. Stir in 1/4 cup of Kinder’s Chicken Sauce and let warm for 5–10 minutes. Add lime juice if desired.
Serve: Use in tacos topped with crunchy cabbage slaw or pickled onions, and an extra drizzle of “The Chicken Sauce.”
Notes
You can also mix in some sauce before cooking for a sweeter flavor profile, but it’s best added after shredding to preserve the creamy texture.
Great served with: shredded romaine, avocado, jalapeños, or pickles for a play on chicken sandwich flavors.
