Why I Love This Snack
It’s the easiest way to kick off a Greek-inspired dinner. No cooking required—just good olives, a little citrus, and fresh herbs. It looks thoughtful but takes almost no time.
Ingredients
1 cup mixed olives (Kalamata, Castelvetrano, etc.)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Zest of ½ lemon or orange
A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine olives with olive oil, citrus zest, and herbs.
Let sit at room temp for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors mingle.
Serve as-is or alongside marcona almonds or sliced cucumbers.
Hosting Tip
Put these out while you finish up the main dishes—people love having something to snack on, and it sets the tone for the meal.
